Frightfest 2026 continues this September on Friday & Saturday Nights

This weekend our 15th annual Frightfest continues at the Harvest Moon with the new movie Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom followed by the 30th anniversary of Matilda on screen 1 for family friendly frights while the new RESIDENT EVIL horror movie continues followed by the 30th Anniversary of SCREAM for the scary side! Frightfest is all about the pre-Halloween fun of the spooky season with included extras at the drive-in. What do we do? Walk through Haunted Graveyard with animated and static decor, themed intermission content on screen, fun themed music before the movies, themed photo ops all over the theater outside the gate, inside the theater and Snack Bar with dozens of spots to make memories and create epic photos/videos. Plus the whole place gets a Halloween makeover, themed food and drink specials for the season and movies and our popular best dressed costume contests for kids and adults at intermission time each night. It's a chance to embrace the fall fun and show off your scary style each night September 25th-October 10th. Pre-show Trunk or Treat takes place the Weekends of September 25th-26th & October 2nd & 3rd with prizes for the best decorations each night too.

Gates open 6:00pm Friday - Saturday and 7:20 pm showtime!

We had so much fun at last year's first official Trunk or Treat event that we decided to go bigger with 2 nights this year and some very special movie celebrations on the big screen!

We will be registering folks in advance to set up 50+ decorated trunks and hand out candy to the kids before the shows start. To participate, you just have to register and agree to arrive and set up, bring candy to hand out for 400+ kids for the night you sign up(you can do both nights if you want) and show up to participate on the night you signed up for. Registration includes free admission for everyone in your car for the movie combo of your choice that night and a drive-in gift pack.

Admission for the Trunk or Treaters and family is our regular rates(these movies are higher cost this year).

Friday the gates will open at 5 pm for Trunk Set-up and will open at 6pm for regular admission. Trunk or Treat will take place before the show. Costume Contest will be held at Intermission and announcement for Trunk Decoration Winners(top 3 get big drive-in prizes!).

Saturday we kick things off early with gates open at 3:30pm for trunk set up and 5:00 pm for regular admission and trick or treaters. Trick or Treating will run 5:00 pm to 6pm. 6:30 pm-7 pm Costume Parade and Contest. 7:20 pm Showtime. Intermission- Winners announced for Trunk Decoration Contest.

Plus- we continue all our Halloween fun with our haunted graveyard and inflatable haunted house, spooky decorations and monsters, plus all the fun Halloween themed collectibles & food/drink specials.

Arrive early to participate in the contests and trunk or treat, or just come to see the movies with the fall fun. Registration for Trunks will be posted later this week here on the event and also on our website. Tickets are on sale now for the movies.

We host our  last weekend of the regular season with a drive-in horror party you won’t want to miss!

We’ll have all the spooky fun of our Halloween events: All Ages Trunk or Treating before the shows, themed specials and mocktails, collectible merchandise, best dressed costume contest and an assortment of themed items, merch and fun to enjoy before the movie and during the intermission time.

Up on screen 1 is the Halloween Millennial Horror Hits Shaun of the Dead from 2004 at 7pm followed by the cult classic Drag Me to Hell from 2009 at 8:45pm.

Back on screen 2, the blood flows early with the 50th Anniversary of the Steven King classic CARRIE at 7pm followed by the most cursed 80's horror feature Poltergeist night at 8:45 pm.

Dig up your perfect costumes, enjoy a themed dinner with us and end our 2026 regular season with a bloody good time!
